Gas Prices, revisited

Wow, this seems kind of expensive now, eh? How cool is it to fill up your gas tank for less than $20?

The other day, I went to the Hess that is across from our street on Beach BLVD. We usually go there, because it is the cheapest we can find without the ridiculousness of driving all over town to find the best deal. Also, we hate going to Murphey's (the Wal-Mart beast that gives you 3 cents off every gallon--IF you go inside Wal-Mart and buy a gift card). Anyways, the sign advertised $1.69/gallon for regular unleaded, so I was like, "Heck yeah!" and pulled in to fill up. The price at the pump was actually $1.65! Are prices dropping so fast, they can't even keep the marquee updated fast enough? This was Monday evening. The price on the sign there yesterday was at $1.62 (maybe even lower at the pump?).
