Price Alert: Organic Bananas

For those of you wanting to choose organic but trying to stick to a strict budget, this post contains some great news! Organic bananas are the same price as conventional (which means non-organic; pesticide-ridden, if you will)! But only at Native Sun... $0.69/pound, that is. Never say Native Sun is too expensive; Publix has still got organic bananas at $0.99/pound (which is normal) vs. $0.69/pound for conventional.

And for those of you who are still not convinced, check out this article I found while searching for an image of some bananas:

Random Videos

Just because I can... I'll do these chronologically.

The first video is from our Thanksgiving Keys trip. Imagine getting a sunburn in late November! Anyway, Alicia has chronicled some of our adventures there, and Mom has referenced the giant "Maine lobster" hermit crab, found by Angelina at Sombrero Beach. Check it out:

2nd Video:

Rowan playing in a banana box. Just so you know, this is the box top for the 40-pound box of organic bananas that we buy almost every week from Native Sun. Not shown: Rowan and I are secretly having a competition to see who can eat the most bananas.

Finally, I HAD to get this on video! Alicia nose was a little plugged up yesterday, so of course she did a "nose cleanse." This is one of the coolest things we have done. It is neat to think that you can pour saltwater in one of your nostrils, wait for it to fill up your sinus cavities, and then have your nose be more clear when you get it all out. You should try it!
